Site Characteristics
Huntable acres: 2,250
Habitat: Located on the Mississippi River bluffs in southwestern Illinois, this site reveals a topography that varies from level flood plains to steep hills. Cultivated fields, along with hay fields and brushy areas, are interspersed with extensive stands of mature bottomland and upland timber.
Active habitat management will occur throughout the year on the site.

All hunters must sign in and sign out, and report their harvest each day following their hunt.
Hunters may leave stands unattended from September 15 to January 31. Stands must be legibly marked with the owner’s name, address, and telephone number

- Rimfire rifles .22 caliber and smaller may be used from sunset to sunrise.
- Furbearer hunting is closed during Firearm Deer Season.
- Hunters with a valid, unfilled firearm deer permit for the hunt area may take coyotes during legal hours of the firearm deer season. Otherwise, the use of shotgun slugs to take furbearing mammals is prohibited on state sites.
- Coyote and striped skunk season coincides with the statewide fox season.
Trapping

- Water sets only, with the exception of Egg Traps, D-P (Dog Proof) traps, cage traps and traps of similar design may ONLY be used for land sets.
