Habitat: The site is characterized by a mixture of wooded ravines with old fields present on the ridges and in the creek bottoms. A natural succession of woody plants is occurring at various stages throughout the site. The woodlands consist of a relatively young stand of oak-hickory timber.

The site requires the use of a windshield card displayed on the vehicle dashboard to report hunting effort and harvest by 15 February.
Hunters must remove tree stands from the area at the end of the day’s hunt, and the stands must be portable and legibly labeled with the hunter’s name, address, and telephone number or a site-assigned number.
No hunting within 50 yards of the designated picnic or parking areas.
