Site Characteristics
Huntable acres: 280 acres divided into two separate units. 120-acre unit located 3.5 miles south of IL State Route 9 on 1300 E. Road; 160-acre unit located 0.5 miles east of the intersection of 1300 E and 3500 N Road, 5 miles south of IL State Route 9.
Habitat: Open grassland consisting of two separate units. Active grassland habitat management will be occurring on the site. These activities are designed to improve upland habitat.
Active habitat management will be occurring throughout the year on the site, including prescribed burning.

Site requires a Free Upland Game permit issued via state lottery. Permit applications can be found here
All upland hunting must be done with shotgun or bow and arrow (flu flu arrows only).
