Huntable acres: 159

Habitat: Topography varies from flat to gently rolling, which is vegetated in a mixture of cool-season grasses and legumes, warm-season grasses, and shrubs. There are prairie restorations, old fields, creek bottoms, food plots, and woodland.

Active habitat management will occur throughout the year at this site.

The site requires the use of a windshield card, displayed on the vehicle dashboard, to report hunting effort and harvest by 15 February.

  • Each permit holder may be accompanied by up to 3 hunting partners, allowing for a maximum of 4 hunters per day. 
  • Each permit holder must complete and return a hunter harvest survey report to the IDNR by Feb 15.
