Site Characteristics
Huntable acres: 1,150
Habitat: wooded area with upland prairie openings, and a rocky creek running through a drawl bisecting the park. The diversity of habitats makes this a great location for deer and turkey hunting with plenty of areas to spread out and try new locations. Active habitat management will be occurring throughout the year on the site.

Site/Species Specific Regulations
Statewide and associated species regulations, in accordance with the Illinois Digest of Hunting and Trapping Regulations, apply at site unless noted hereafter.
Site requires use of windshield card, displayed on vehicle dashboard, to report hunting effort and harvest by 15 February.
The hunting area will be closed to all other activities during firearm deer season, muzzleloader deer season, and spring turkey season.
Only one tree stand or ground blind is allowed per deer permit holder. Tree stands and ground blinds must comply with restrictions listed in 17 Ill. Adm. Code 510.10(c)(3) and (c)(12) and must be portable. Tree stands and ground blinds may be left unattended from September 15 – January 31.
