Habitat: Open Grasslands with limited, wooded riparian area. Active grassland habitat management will be occurring on the site. These activities are designed to improve upland habitat. Active habitat management will be occurring throughout the year on the site, including prescribed burning.

- Archery Deer requires use of a windshield card. Card must displayed on vehicle dashboard and hunters are required to report hunting effort and harvest by 15 February.

Available at this site. Statewide regulations apply, except:
- Requires a lottery-based Free Upland Game Permit that you can apply online for between Aug 1 – Aug 31. Harvest reporting materials will be mailed to successful permit holders via the Illinois Natural History Survey (INHS). You must report your harvest to INHS by February 15th to avoid losing hunting privileges for the following year.
- Permits are issued for the first and second day of the statewide upland game season and on each subsequent Wednesday and Saturday in November and on each Thursday and Sunday in December through Dec 24.
- All upland hunting must be done with shotgun or bow and arrow (flu flu arrows only).
- Only one party consisting of the permit holder and no more than 3 hunting partners will be allowed each day.
