Site Characteristics
- Huntable acres: 450: Water Acres 2, Timber Acres 408, Open 40
- Habitat: The hunting area is a mixture of forested habitat and open spaces. Twenty wildlife openings vary in size from ½ acre to 10 acres and are rotated between wildlife forage and idle residual habitat. Forested habitat contains mature mixed hardwoods, pine plantations and mesic forest. Habitat varies across the site with some areas being very steep with box canyons and bluffs. Active habitat management will be occurring throughout the year on the site.




Site Specific Regulations
- All statewide hunting regulations apply at site unless noted hereafter.
- All hunters must sign-in and sign-out and report harvest each day at the registration boxes.
- Use Hunt Planner to find hunting seasons open at this site.
- Hunters may leave stands unattended from September 15-January 31. Stands must be legibly marked with owner’s name, address and telephone number.
- The use of a ground blind during any firearm deer season on public land requires at least 400 square inches of solid vivid blaze orange material that is securely attached to the uppermost portion of the blind and a substantial amount of orange is visible for 360 degrees.
