Report your turkey sightings! Wild Turkey Survey is live until 8/31!

For the past several decades volunteer citizen scientists have participated in IDNR’s wild turkey survey by reporting turkey sightings with mail-in postcards. The data collected from these postcards is extremely valuable and is our best way to estimate reproductive success each year for our wild turkey population. IDNR now has an electronic version that can be accessed on both mobile devices and home computers.

Our Wild Turkey Survey runs during June, July, and August and all that’s requested from you is to report all the turkeys you see during that time.
